Community coverage

Research depth is uneven. Enterprise and Joseph have enriched opening collections. Other communities have sourced introductions, with directory records where the selected state feed returns them. Connected records are the researched records about a community, not counting the community’s own introduction.

Business registrations are a starting inventory

The initial acquisition contains 1,710 distinct Oregon registry identifiers. It selects principal-place-of-business records in named county communities, with a state value of Oregon. All 1,710 passed the identifier validation; 0 were rejected. Acquired 2026-09-13.

A city string is not a verified county boundary, and a registration does not establish an operating storefront. The 1,710 registration records remain unresolved for premises and operating status. Authored business profiles remain distinct until the editor verifies an identity match. Shared addresses never cause an automatic merge.

Each registration record carries a request link for the registrant. A listing is annotated by default; it is withdrawn when the request comes with a verifiable signal, such as a reply from a web domain matching the business or the registered agent contact recorded by the state. Owner names and contact details are never added.

County parcel coverage

8,611 parcel geometry records are published from the county’s public taxlot service. Source feature IDs and repeating lot suffixes remain distinct from full legal map-taxlot identifiers. Current countywide zoning and assessment attributes remain incomplete.

Voices and cultural coverage

The opening collection links to existing published accounts. New resident interviews have not yet been collected. Because it was built from what is already published, the collection leans toward organizations that publish; people and places that do not are under-represented in it. Faith communities, additional tribal connections, informal gathering places, historical businesses, and many rural services remain collecting priorities. No person’s identity or affiliation is inferred.

Source freshness

The opening collection was assembled in one research sprint. The source register holds 163 entries, every one checked on September 13, 2026 (UTC). As records are rechecked their dates will diverge, and this range will widen. Service listings link to the provider for current details; a check date describes our reading, not a guarantee that an organization’s information has not changed.

Publication status

Private contributions are open. The editor’s review queue controls every change to this collection; nothing is published without the contributor’s permission.
