The station says the idea began in 2018 as a repeater for KLRF in Milton-Freewater, that engineering studies in 2022 and 2023 “concluded that the Seventh-day Adventist Church property in Enterprise was ideal,” with a potential reach of 6,300 of the county’s 7,200 people, and that it filed with the FCC in December 2023 and in February 2024 “received joyful news: we had been granted the 100.3 FM frequency for a new LPFM station.” The call letters stand for “Broadcasting Christ’s Love And Hope” and had been held by the U.S. Coast Guard. “By June 2025, our station was on the air,” governed by a six-member radio board. Its chamber listing describes “a non-profit Christian radio station” that “exists to share the love & hope of Jesus Christ with our community through music, encouragement, and truth.”
The station’s own site gives no street address and names no leader; the office address here comes from its member-supplied chamber listing, and the transmitter site on the Adventist church property is not its office. The corporation behind the station is Wallowa Valley Christian Broadcasting Corporation, whose state registration dates from November 2023; that is a filing date, and whether the station is formally affiliated with the Adventist congregation is not stated.
